Youth/Teen Studio Bodysuit
Capezio BraTek EL102T and EL102W in Black.
This bodysuit is recommended for our Junior 1 Adv and up classes, but is NOT mandatory. We will use this bodysuit for our ADAPT Tap and Jazz exams this season. You can purchase this bodysuit at Dance Street.
The Capezio BraTek comes with an adjustable bra built in to the bodysuit in the adult sizing, so students do not need to wear their own bra underneath. The “Tween” version of this bodysuit comes in sizes Child I, M, and L and models after the BraTek suit without having a bra built into it.

Lyrical/Contemporary
Same attire as Jazz classes.
No shorts for contemporary unless over tights, due to a large amount of floorwork.Footwear:
For Performance - Bloch Spin II Nude turning shoes.
For Class - Jazz shoes are acceptable for lyrical, bare feet is acceptable for contemporary. Turn shoes are not super durable, and we want them to be clean for performance. So we do suggest using your jazz shoes for lyrical or barefeet for contemporary during class. Closer to performance time, you will need the turn shoes. -

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT)
The PBT program utilizes various pieces of equipment to aid in developing the dancers feeling of the movements and increasing their strength. Some of these items will be supplied by the studio, but registered dancers may be required to provide their own individualized pieces of equipment. Prior to the start of the season, the studio will communicate to registered dancers what equipment may need to be acquired. An example of possible equipment needed is an exercise ball. Please wait to hear from the studio for details before sourcing your equipment.
Dancers should wear ballet attire for class with convertible tights.
