Ella Lucas

 

Ella began dancing at the early age of 3 and started her Kristy’s Dance Fusion journey at 11 years old. Since then, she has trained and competed in ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and acro earning many top awards at competitions across Saskatchewan and Alberta. Ella has also completed numerous ballet and jazz exams through the RAD and ADAPT.

Ella had the opportunity to train and compete with World Performers Canada in the summer of 2024. She was awarded a spot on the Canadian Hip Hop Team, selected for the Canadian Lyrical Team, and chosen to do a lyrical solo representing her country for World of Dance Canada. Under the training of Jacques Monfiston, Kim Falconi, and Jen Carter, she travelled with the World Performers Canadian team to Prague, Czech Republic to compete on the international stage, scoring high marks in her group and solo routines. While in Prague, Ella attended a master class with Abby Lee Miller who selected her for a one on one zoom class.

Since graduating high school, Ella has continued to train and compete at KDF while beginning her teaching career teaching hip hop and assisting under the mentorship of Miss Rachel in acrodance. This fall, Ella begins her journey at the University of Saskatchewan College of Arts & Science to pursue a degree in Psychology. Ella is beyond excited to share her knowledge and love for dance at Kristy’s Dance Fusion!
