Rachel Sydiaha, ARAD
Rachel began her dance training at the age of 4 in Saskatoon. By age 9, ballet had become a lifelong passion and she began training with Yvonne Jaspar in Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations. She trained vigorously and almost exclusively in ballet throughout her teenaged years and succeeded in completing the RAD Advanced 2 Examination at the age of 18. Most recently, she became an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance in recognition of her exam achievements.
To further her ballet training, Miss Rachel has attended numerous RAD workshops and classes under some of Canada's most knowledgable ballet instructors. As a teenager, she began doing more serious jazz training and completed Canadian Dance Teacher's Association examinations from Grade 1 through to the Advanced level with high marks.
Miss Rachel has recently participated in Acrobatique Certification courses and is currently a Certifying Junior and Intermediate Acrobatique teacher! She has already had so much fun working with students on accomplishing new tricks that can be performed amongst their dance choreography.
Additionally, Miss Rachel works as our studio's Project Manager aiding the front office in major administrative tasks throughout the year. You may hear from her throughout the year with regards to newsletters, competitions, and recitals! She is looking forward to beginning her 5th year with the KDF family!
